ran it today, probably for the first time in a long long time, got it from an uncle who got it from someone else the same day... anyways...
got it running, took it down the road about a mile, stopped, noticed oil all over the place under the crankcase, so i figured maybe a gasket or seal was blown.. and it woulda had to been for the amount of oil coming out... so i drove it back, takin it easy on the throttle, and eventually figured out the the oil was coming from the drain tube from the airbox... so now i figure the oil is coming from the vent tube on the top of the crankcase, which feeds into the airbox, then wherever from there... any ideas??? i think maybe it might be too much oil in the crankcase?? i dont know, never seent his happen before... i guess there's one way to find out... do an oil change, put in the right amount, and go from there and see if it does it again... but in the meantime, input is appreciated... thanx!
