...address...pretty please...? 1.
- A balloon is inflated to 4.50 L with oxygen gas, O2, at a particular initial temperature and pressure, and tied-off.Assume that the temperatures and pressures referred to are always those prevailing inside the balloon.

To what volume will the balloon contract or expand when:

The pressure is reduced to one third of the initial value and the Kelvin temperature is also reduced to one third of the initial value?

In this question, I have 2 unknowns...Temperature and pressure.

Is this question somehow related to V=nRT/P ???

2. 27.5 g of silver metal are heated to 92.0°C and then placed in a perfectly insulating container along with 113.0 g of water at an initial temperature of 21.80°C. After a short time the temperature of both the metal and water become equal.
The specific heat of water is 4.18 J/g/K.
The specific heat of silver metal is 0.24 J/g/K.
What is the final temperature in °C?

For this one, I need to find Tf (final temperature), this is a question that didnt even appear on the exams....so I've never encountered such a situation before. Usually Im given both temperatures and asked to find something else, like specific heat or such.

Please if you answer these questions, describe how you did these two as well as the answer...(sometimes its hard to read people's explanations)

Thank you!
