What do you think about mother in law not driving?

My mother in law doesn't drive. And she doesn't even try. Her exuse....she got in too many accident's. Whatever.....
She lives about 15 minutes away. My husband (her son) has to pick her up on holidays and what not. And we end up taking 2 cars because we don't all fit in one. I have 3 yound kids. And I need help with crossing the street when I have all of them. Is it wrong for me to be upset. I feel like it's such a burden. We waist more gas. Going to pick her up is always not in our route to where we are going. Once in a blue moon is okay, but not twice a week.
she is about 50. not too young not too old

It's just a shame you consider driving your mother-in-law two times a week a burden and she only lives 15 minutes away.

That really doesn't sound like much of a burden to me at all.

I was just wondering how you would feel if this was your mother.
