I have a friend with a starter off of a 2008 Suzuki LT-A450X Kingquad and i was wondering if it would work on my 06 ltr 450 if so i could get it alot cheaper then a couple hundred dollars i hate to spend that much on a stupid starter.

if it bolts up go for it. make sure the gears mesh well too. as long as everything fits well you cant hurt anything. both of those quads are 12 volt too. Im guessin it will work

It may be the same starter, but bolting and mounting may be different.
