HUMAN TESTING ON DEATH ROW INMATES?

I am writing a paper on a controversial topic and i decided to go with human testing on death row inmates in order to stray away from the usual "abortion" and "legalize marijuana" topics . what would be the positive and negative reasons for this?

    All help appreciated.

in agreement with this guy... there is a much larger underlying issue dealing with ethics and standards. if someone is on death row, and the state is legally able to kill that person, then that person's body and life is no longer his own. it seems logical then that testing on death row inmates is acceptable, but this is a bad thing. perhaps you can argue against the death penalty and compare it to such things as torture and medical testing on humans.

Well for one it could be in a controlled environment and the outcome wouldn't really matter since these people will not be put back into the public society.

It isn't a question of pros and cons. Given where you posted the question, you might better suited to focus your arguments on medical ethics of testing on humans (death row or otherwise) and the legal ethics or, the constitutional issues of cruel and unusual punishment.
