I'm going on a family vacation out of state, and I know that it charges extra when your roaming and you make a call for US cellular, but is the same way with Texting? Can I text back and forth with someone while I'm roaming? ( I have unlimited if that makes a difference )

no you dont get charged for texting and most calls from cell phoes arent long distant

I would call and ask for sure, but I believe that yes, you would get charged roaming for texting as you would for placing a phone call.
