New iMac seems perfect whilst viewing computer related (phew, as I had read reviews it wasnt up to scratch!). However there seems to be alot of noise in the image during DVD playback. Is this normal and are there settings to change this to better quality?

i have the same mac and dont get any noise - perhaps its a fault on the dvd drive inside ?
