When I start from first gear the pick of my car (Toyota Corolla 2006) is not good?

When I start from first gear the pick of my car (Toyota Corolla 2006) is not as it used to be. If I try to start drive /pick slowly .. it appears drive okay. But if I try to start / pick quickly it drives of but not as if its in control. Some feeling / sound of 'GRRRR' comes from the engine as it goes of,.. and then drives smoothly once I am off in 2nd , 3rd gear etc ......
Does it appears to be some clutch problem, or something else? Is it some major repair? if yes then how much would it roughly cost?
    Help would be much appreciated.....

It could be a clutch problem. This engine has a timing chain and I wouldn't expect any problems with it for many years to come. Think about your driving habits; If you take off hard all the time, you're going to wear out and glaze your clutch. That is a tough engine to damage. I won't say you can't break it. If you try constantly, you can ruin any engine. Have an OBD2 check done. Have the clutch checked.
