    It will permit the Philippines to move beyond its productions possibilities curve (PPC)

    No nation is the most efficient at producing everything for it, so when nation's trade, they are able to use their resources more efficiently.

    So the Philippines can concentrate on a wide variety of productions, (not just one or two! that's asking for disaster!) and it can trade those products with other nations that are specializing in things that the philippines lacks.

    This system of trade is called comparative advantage.

    I love the way you didnt even try to put the question into your own words. I guess im just as stumped as you are. Let see...opening the trade to the Philipines would up their ecomony and if US sells more we can have more jobs for people which means more taxes going into the goverment and that will help pay for goverment jobs such as teachers and that will improve education which will provide more competent graduates for the jobs in the philipines. Hope that helps.
