It may not be completely normal again, but using an Epsom Salt/warm water compress can help prevent or extract infections that could lead to scarring. Also, once there is no longer an open wound, using cocoa butter (or Mederma, made for scars and making them less noticeable) or Neosporin can help the healing process and reduce scarring.

Scab wound on the nose, HELP!?

I dont want to leave a scar on my nose!! help!!
Let me clarify, I have a minor scrape wound on my nose and I waited it to heal normally. After the scab has fallen off the pores on the skin underneth seems to be covered by a layer of skin and it is not visable. The colours of the skin after the scab has fallen has darkened and I am wondering what I can do to make it normal again!!
