How will Dems be able to tell their constituents they're not against all these things when they have votes on the record now? And for what? They could have fixed a number of issues - the Spina Biffida one specifically - in one fell swoop, but no, they wanted to stay united against sending the bill back to the House. And many of these things were bipartisan motions anyway. Whoops. Guess that means more bills, more pork, more time.
