Thread: How to create a cover letter for a book? Is that the same as a query letter?

I've only seen cover letters for job applications. What if it's for a book?

If it is for a book submission you would like to send to an agent or publisher, then yes, it is called query letter. There is some basic info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Query_letter

Google the term and research, as probably there is more to it than just what the wiki says.
