I've been waiting for the handgun ban in Chicago and San Fran to be overturned ever since the D.C. ban was. It's shit like this that makes me sick. I absolutely LOVE the city of Chicago, but the politics of that area are beyond retarded. It just blows my mind.

Ugh, thats a neg for me. Too many people everywhere, especially on the fuckin road. Been here 6 mo. Cool city so far, but it's just food and nightlife, with museums. Maybe it'll get better

An 80 year old man, in his own home, kills an armed intruder, and the state is trying to figure out how to punish the old man?

I don't know if he's gonna sue (or if he can, since handguns are currently banned in Chicago). But with the Supreme Court currently hearing a case regarding Chicago's handgun ban, the NRA is gonna jump all over this. This elderly guy will be their poster child and he won't have to pay a dime in legal fees.

That's what he pays taxes for and the police are there to protect him. He should have called and hid until they arrived.
