I have a quick question. IF I order the upcoming UFC in HD thru the internet, will it open up the SD channel on my 2 4100's upstairs?

Only if the HD and the SD versions have the same event ID (that 5 or 6 digit code that appears in the guide listing for the event).

I just chatted with a bell rep, and unfortunatly there is no way to order the HD on my TV downstairs and get the SD channel for the kids upstairs...kinda sucks.

Don't you allow the kids to watch your HD TV.....lol

Seriously though it depends on the HD receiver you have. If it is a 9200 or 9242, they would be able to watch it if you are recording just a couple of minutes after you start the recording.

i'm sorry if this does not relate to this but what if you order the HD event on the internet or over the phone and you have 2 HD receivers. will both HD receivers get the event?

Yes they will because the code would be the same and the event would be made available to all receivers on your account that can pick up the event with that code.

The kids are having friends over...so upstairs they go, don't want them bugging me... LOL

Yes I'm going to record it, but I still want to watch it live. How will recording help with getting it upstairs for the kids?

Well if you have the 9200 or 9242 as I said earlier, they could access it via the TV#2 output of the receiver.
