Thread: Tom and Jerry

Has anyone seen the uncut version of His Mouse Friday (the one where Jerry goes blackface as one of the savages in the island in order to scare Tom)?

The reason why I say uncut is because the ending is always cut off.

Tom and Jerry is one of the best cartoon. I love to watch this cartoon. Its all time hit cartoon show. Totally outstanding.

I always thought Jerry had the craziest relatives. And it's not only his singing, whisker ripping grandpa but even Jerry's cousin:

Also, I love the episodes that have Jerry aligned with deadly animals (Ex. The episodes that had the runaway lion and the elephant separated from his mother who can disguise himself to look like a jumbo sized Jerry)

Yeah, I think the show's better when they don't talk. What they're doing explains enough of what's going on :nod:

I'll have to respectfully disagree. I actually like the whole "action speaks louder than words" and just let the music do all the "talking". The usual screams that Tom or Jerry do are perfectly fine.

Cartoons these days don't have the whole minimal dialogue thing going on.

I like watching it but i wish they could speak more often. It really makes me laugh.

Tom usually speaks when he's singing last I checked. The whole "Texas" song is the only thing I could recall. I know Jerry spoke in the "His Mouse Friday" episode when he posed himself as an African Savage to throw Tom off.

I do remember them speaking every now and then, but yeah, it wasn't very often.
