Okay, so like I mention before I'm still new to Verizon. So I have been downloading and playing with different applications just trying to find out what is worth using.
When I check my Verizon online account My services/My Media/Subscriptions I see:
Backup Assistant - Application (Active) 08/02/08
RemoMail - Application (Active) 08/02/08
Mayo Clinic InTouch - Application (Active) 07/22/08
PEOPLE Mobile - Application (Active) 07/22/08
ESPN MVP - Application (Active) 07/21/08
Mobile Email - Application (Active) 07/11/08
WikiMobile - Application (Active) 07/11/08
VZ Navigator - Application (Active) 07/10/08
Movies Powered by IMDb - Application (Active) 07/20/08
The problem is the only applications I have on my phone right now are ESPN Mobile, Backup Assistant, and RemoMail. When I called Verizon they told me that when I canceled and removed the applications that those subscriptions were removed and that I am no longer being charged for them. But online it shows everything as being active. Even though there is nothing of them left on my phone. So I'm confused. I'm not being charged anymore for the applications that were removed from my phone, but they are still listed as Active. Has anyone else been through this? Does this part of my online account update itself after a while? Again the ((ONLY)) applications on my phone right now are the 3 I listed above. Everything else has been canceled and deleted.
So what's up with this? Verizon has a totally different system for software downloads then any other carrier I have used.
