    2Q Increase of 1.1 Million

No surprise to me. Verizon Wireless is the best. I have been with them for 6 years. I mean I have everything Verizon cell phone, tv, internet, and home phone and I have to say I have been very satisfied.

    2Q Increase of 1.1 Million

Whenever Verizon Wireless reports gains, they only report post paid gains.

Whenever they tell you the total number of customers they have, they include prepaid.

Their churn rate is currently 1.2%

I've also listed the churn rates for competing carriers below for reference:

    Sprint PCS-1.6%
    AT&T-2.2%
    T-Mobile 1.4%
Alltel (before the acquisition by VZW)-9.5%

    2Q Increase of 1.1 Million

Almost 90 MILLION customers? I still remember back when large US carriers only had 20 Million customers. Now companies like Verizon and AT&T are listed with the top carriers worldwide. Most impressively, is the fact that both Verizon and AT&T have these large numbers based only on US customers. Other large carriers have service in several markets; which doesn't make their numbers as impressive.
