can I use an old Yamaha PSR keyboard as a MIDI controller?

I know that MIDI controllers don't actually make the sounds, only control them. What I have is a portable keyboard with MIDI interface.... can I some how use it as a MIDI controller??

if it has midi inputs and outputs then yes. You may need a midi to usb adapter to get it to work on some audio interfaces
