This morning, Rosie O'Donnell went on Today to promote her new variety show, Rosie Live, and inevitably, the conversation turned to The View, the remarks that Rosie made about Barbara Walters, and Babs' response. Rosie says that she will continue to speak honestly about her time on The View when asked because it was part of her life experience, but that she has no bad feelings about B. Dubs, if only because she was such a pioneer for women in broadcasting. She says that she's upset that she hurt Barbara's feelings, that she loves Babs and that love is complicated. All of this only supports Barbara's theory—which she included in her autobiography Audition—that Rosie is playing out her mother issues with Babs.
