    We lucked out. My wife ordered her 8900 on morning of launch, 2/11, on the T-Mo website and paid extra for express shipping. We both were surprised when it showed up to our apt. complex the next day!! I suspected that there were still some in-stock when we placed the order. Otherwise, she'd be waiting just like the rest of you all. Heck, we even tried to call around midnight to see if it was there. She could've gotten it then but to order it over phone you had to have had a credit card. Doesn't make a difference when you can just go online and have that mug billed to your account. Sometimes I wonder about T-Mobile's CS Dept.

    I honestly don't really care what the reason is why i did get my phone when promised. I am not a happy customer. Whether the CS have the information or not. The company should make all the information needed to keep the customer updated. If they do not update their intranet, that is not the customers fault. They should tell their bosses they are getting upset customers who want more information. Inventory should be managed better.
    At the end of many days the customers end up suffering and waiting. It is bad enough TMO always has the phones last. Do we really need to be waiting more?
    Alot of these comments are written to inform other stackers of my current situation with this process. I rarely have anything bad to say about my carrier but when i do i think other people should be aware so they get helpful information to avoid the samething i am going through.
    Good luck fellow stackers i am still waiting for an ETA from UPS.

    Congratulations to all who have participated in this thread, who have ordered on 2.11 and have now gotten confirmation from UPS that the shipment is in progress.

    I am still not getting any tracking info on my order, but I ordered on 2.12, so I am keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow. Has anyone else ordered on 2.12 or later, been told the phone is back ordered and then subsequently had their phone ship?

    Thanks for all the great info and keep up the updates coming.

    Well I ordered mine on the 15th from customer loyalty for $179.00 plus tax no rebate UPS ground. Not here yet but hopefully it won't take a month like my 8320 did. When I placed the order I was told the Georgia warehouse had it stock, but I think I will be like the rest and be stuck on backorder. Funny thing after I placed by order, I went by a TMO store, they had them in stock. Mine was due here this week so I did not get it there. Besides my price was better.

    I too ordered with the loyalty team on 02/12. Hopefully it will ship soon. still saying backorderd.
