This week, on Back to the Sewer: The turtles make their way into the internets to see what fate has befallen Splinter, and if possible, rescue him. But what is the Cyber Shredder, and how dangerous will he prove to be?

The episode was supposed to be on at 6:30 this morning but The CW popped in some old episodes of Tom and Jerry Tales from back in the summer running from 5-6 pushing the east coast 8AM-10AM shows up an hour. Since the shows that were supposed to air from 10AM-12PM on the east coast are played from 8AM-10AM here in Maryland, wonder how this schedule mix-up will screw up the airings of Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's and the other shows?

I'm digging the Cyberspace look. It takes the show back to the style of the 2003 series if you notice the eyes.

With Mikey saying that no one has entered in the Internet, he doesn't know about the other characters that have been in the 'Net. Examples: Big Guy and Rusty, Carmen and Juni from Spy Kids 3D, Tai and Matt when they battle against Diaboromon.

Wonder if the turtles will be on the Internet for this one episode or will they stay on the 'Net for a while?

He said that no Turtle has been there. And Mikey also uttered a name we have not heard in a long time, when he said to Cyber Shredder "Later, Shredhead." The last time we heard the Shredhead name was in the original series.

Was a fairly good episode.

Not much to say really, but I hope not too many episodes are spent in cyberspace. I hope they collect more Splinter bits off-screen.

Oh, and this episode was basically waving the toy prices for the figures. You can practically read $14.99 above those cars they were driving. Ironically enough, no cyberturtle toys are in stores at the moment. Oh Playmates...how you confound me.

I believe they've called him Shredhead several times in the new series, actually.

And yes, this episode did feel like one big toy commercial. 4Kids definitely has the gimmick it needs to drive up sales. Cyber Shredder is awesome, though, and just as we thought, he's a backup file of the Utrom Shredder's data mixed with data from Viral. I wonder if he'll find a way to rescue Ch'rell from the asteroid later in the season.
