The car has an old, very tired 302 in it with a 2-bbl carb and Edelbrock aluminum intake, electric choke which I'm not sure even works, and a horrible electrical system. It surges from like 100-2000RPM, so it surges a few times, then the oil pressure light go on along with the engine dying. What should I do? It seems like it may be a vacuum leak or something, but where? The first thing I'll probably do is clean the carb since that usually makes everything better.
